This was just for fun, mostly made because :iconmissthunderkin: and I were talking about what ifs and what nots and I had mentioned how I originally planned on having Gordie and Lily as a couple back when I first started (*sigh* oh the memories....), to which she asked how Cy would look if Lily were the mama. So of course that got me thinking and now... yeah this is how he would look.

He generally looks the same, but at the same time, he doesn't. He'd have a more leafy type of hair, parted to look like dreds (yeah no curly, dredy hair for him), since both his parents are plant types (and he'd be 1/4 frog). His freckles would be much bigger, like the spots you see on frogs and he'd have a lot going down his back, on his shoulders and on his elbows and knees (maybe his groin?). He sports the vines and fangs and brows of his papa, but he grows a pumpkin lily on his head (which blooms and then falls off and another grows in it's place. Quite a pretty flower, those pumpkin lilys). And of course he'd need a new name, and since I can't see him as anyone but Cy, I went looking for plant names starting with CY. Coincidentally I came across Cyperus which fits him perfectly!

Now, regarding his personality, oh boy, he is NOTHING like Cyder. Lily is a very very VERY over-protective mama, and she'd coddle Cyperus like crazy! So he'd be a lot more like his mother. A gentle soul who is gifted in the art of music and is very well mannered and dresses proper, thanks to his mama. Needless to say, he and his father would most likely butt heads from time to time; Gordie would try and push his son to do more "out-doorsy" things, but Cyperus wouldn't be too keen on it. Not to say Gordie wouldn't love his son, but he would wish he was more active and not so recluse. However, he'd be very skilled in sword play, what with Uncle Koi insisting he'd learn (and Gordie would insist as well, much to Lily's dismay). And he wouldn't hibernate like his mother during the winter months, but I do see that he hates winter. He becomes lethargic and most likely spends most of his time in front of the fire place (after all, he is part amphibian)

Honestly, he's not a bad lookin' guy, if you ask me. And so much information for a crack-baby, right? I dunno, my brain makes me do and think things. Why can't I ever just post something and say: oh look, crack baby. the end. LOL Aaaaaaaaaanywhoooooos, yeah. Cyperus (or Cy for short) Is it weird that I want to make him an actual OC? I think it's the leafy-dreds and pumpkin lily concept. oops Well, there you have it. The son that never was!~
